We are absolutely delighted with the toddler seat. I had expected it's design to look slightly like an add-on or an afterthought, so was fairly amazed to see that the same amount of thought had gone into this as the actual buggy - excellent harness, the “flippy-uppy” bar is a god-send as it means you don't have to lift the toddler as high up to get them in, and the seat feels so solidly attached to the actual buggy. I'd tried Matilda in an EmmalJunga toddler seat that sits on top of a carrycot and this didn't feel nearly so sturdy and she also tipped towards me quite unnervingly when doing the action that you would to go up a kerb. Having seen the ABC toddler seat now, we are mystified as to why it is not suitable for use on slopes as it seems to not have any wobble about it at all. We were also impressed with how the rain cover just slips underneath the seat so easily - even though it doesn't actually look like it's going to.

The buggy is currently up in the baby's room and so Matilda sat in her 'princesses seat' for over 45 minutes today demanding that toys be passed to her in it and refusing (again!) to come out (your buggy seems to have this strange effect). She absolutely loved it and said it was very comfy and wanted me to push it around the upstairs bedrooms. However, after my husband got rather over-enthusiastic doing this downstairs when the buggy first arrived and ripped off part of a door frame as he tore through it I decided it was probably best not to!

I love my buggy despite these two problems I have had, and think it is far superior to any others I have seen. My toddler rides in the upper toddler seat which is excellent. She loves it and so do I although I often feel hesitant when turning corners or on gravel tracks. Is this concern warranted?

Dear Phil, - Just a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am with the toddler
seat. When Liam was born I hired a double buggy, which while great for
walking, its size made it difficult to store, transport and get around in
shops. Emma (2 years) also enjoyed waking Liam up or putting her toys on
top of him. I purchased the toddler seat four months ago and have been really pleased
with it.
Emma and Liam (now nine months) have turns at sitting in the buggy
or sitting in the toddler seat. It is great that while one is asleep or
happy to just sit there you can interact face to face with the other. They
both have a clear unblocked view and I can still use the sun and rain covers
on the buggy. Emma can also push pedestrian crossing buttons while sitting in the toddler seat which keeps her entertained and makes shopping in town a little
easier.
We often receive positive comments and questions from people as the seat up
top is different from most forms of double buggy. Thanks for a great mode
of transport for our children.

The buggy is going great. Jonathan (our eldest, 3.5 yrs) is now too heavy to go in the top seat, so he mainly walks or we use a McLaren buggy and buggy board. The best thing about the toddler seat is that you can take it off and use the buggy as a normal single buggy.
Whilst we were using the toddler seat, lots of people approached us and commented on what a good idea it was. Overall we have been really pleased with it.

It’s thanks to you that I am stopped in the streets and shopping malls!! I have had countless curious people pointing and staring at our fantastic buggy. “What a great buggy” “What a great idea (toddler seat)” “Where did you buy that?”
In case you are wondering we visited your show room twice last year – once in November then again in December to buy the toddler seat as we were expecting our second child in January. We had another boy, Daniel, hope all is well with your new addition.
Our nanny who looks after the boys 3 days a week is also constantly bombarded with the same questions, only today another lady wanted contact details so she could find out where we got the buggy from, but neither had a pen. Needless to say the buggy has been a great success for us, both boys love it, my husband loves it and most importantly I love it (it could do with a clean thou!).
Basically I think you should send me up a wade of your cards that I can keep in the buggy and pass on to all those who are interested.
Phil please don’t get suspicious our think there are any ulterior motives here. This is a simply a case of us being very impressed with your product and being quite happy to spread the word.

Lots of friends are inquiring about who's got the UK franchise for it, a woman from the buying dept., of a store group called John Lewis also asked my wife for your contact details. Anytime you decide to get into the UK market, I think the only problem you might
have is keeping up with demand! Lastly it is great to deal with a Co., that is trying to sell something based on making it simply, with best materials & using your ingenuity to make it work well, this in the modern world is very rare, it makes using the buggy more of a pleasure than a necessity.

I have been meaning to email you for a couple of months now, but with a 2.5 year old & a baby, well time [first & foremost] along with the ability to remember to do so has eluded me, until now! Phil, I spoke with you about 6 months ago and ordered direct from you a toddler seat to go with our [black] Adventure Buggy pram that we bought in Western Australia before our first child was born.
My partner and I were a tad unsure re the seat going on top of the pram i.e. how did it attach, stability wise etc. but we got one because we thought hopefully it would be okay and well basically because we had no other choice. We were pleasantly surprised when it arrived re the cost, the simple design and how sturdy it was, and our little girl loved the idea of her "new toddler seat", she was so excited when we put her in it, and when we finally went on our first outing with her baby sister underneath.
Anyway, to cut a long story short... Basically I just wanted to get back to you to let you know that I have received so many comments re the pram in relation to the toddler seat in particular. People have actually stopped me in the street and said - what a great idea (being up on top, as opposed to down the front) asked what brand it was, how much weight it could take etc. Another couple of good points are: you don't have to take the toddler seat off to put the baby in and you can use the rain cover without a problem.
It's great to be able to interact with my toddler when we go walking i.e. I can touch her, talk to her, show her things and hand her food & drink. If she was in a toddler seat down at the front of the pram (where all other toddler seats tend to be) well firstly I would barely be able to see her, let alone hear her and I would constantly be having to stop the pram to step to the front and crouch down to attend to her chatter, questions, hunger & thirst. Having her right there in front of me was very convenient indeed.
By the way, I have not seen another one like it in the town I live in, being Burnie on the North West coast of Tasmania.
In a nutshell... I just wanted to say 'THANK YOU'. Your pram & toddler seat design have certainly helped make my life easier, and everyone thinks it's just wonderful!

Sorry I haven't replied sooner but my computer has been down for about 6 weeks. I have received the top toddler seat and it works absolutely brilliantly no more arguments you were right I should have gone for the top seat from the start, oh well.
Hope everything is going well I will spread the word about the buggy I quite often have people come up to me in the street and ask me where I got it as they just don't sell anything like it in the UK.

I don't know if you remember but way back in about March/April we were visiting NZ from England and brought a toddler seat to go with our existing buggy. We were quite unsure about it at the time, but am glad to say that it has been a fantastic purchase. We have used it a lot and it has been great. My oldest son is now 3 and the baby is 11 months and we often swop them about as the baby loves being in the top so he can 'talk' to us and the 3 yr old will sleep/laze in the lower buggy or if slowly wandering around a shopping mall has the freedom to get out and walk if he wants to, without the buggy being in any danger of tipping over. I find I am much more confident at walking places eg to pre-school etc because I have the option of both kids in the buggy whenever I want to go fast. (which has been great at helping me to lose a lot of the weight I had put on when having the kids!). The buggy is easy to push and steer and doesn't take up anymore space than a standard 3 wheeler buggy so is good for getting around shop aisles etc. I am often stopped and asked where I got the buggy from and if the seat can fit other buggies - would it fit other buggies?

Our Twin Buggy has lockable front swivel wheels. Yes- we do have the toddler seat and I couldn’t be without it- it is just brilliant- I get comments about the toddler seat and the buggy itself ALL of the time. In fact a few people I know ended up purchasing their own Adventure Buggy on my recommendation- a couple of the ladies had been looking specifically for a buggy with a great toddler seat and the Adventure Buggy suited their needs perfectly.

We have loved our Adventure Buggy for almost 2 and half years now. It has gone with us everywhere - up and down the country and even to Australia a couple of times! We did see that our use made the swivel be a little more difficult to turn over time. We tried to help it out with dry lube and other grease, but we realised that we were stuck and needed advice. So we contacted you recently and went to see you in your new shop in Porirua the other week. It was so nice to see you and you solved it no time at all!!
Thank you for helping us with our much loved buggy! The changing of the swivel to a new one (WOW!!) really made the buggy turn as it used to do - using just the little finger!! And that is with our largish daughter (16 kg) in it and a full bag underneath. The walks and runs are easy again! Our daughter is happy now - we can go out running again in the nice weather. Something we've missed with all the rain that we've had! And our "new" buggy makes this extra special. Just to let you know - we usually run with the front wheel in the swiveling position and that works really well for us.
Thank you also for putting on a new strip on the foot rest, fix the straps on the bag, adjust the handle bars and folding mechanism. It is virtually a new buggy - had to go home and clean it to match the job you did for us!! Absolutely amazing!
We also want to thank you for replacing the spring we broke a year back! That was also much appreciated! Your service is unmatched!
We bought the buggy based on friends' recommendations and have never looked back. It has been perfect from the day our daughter was born and for all uses! I finally got the chance to get some DRI-LUBE yesterday and have applied it onto the swivel shaft on the front wheel and of course pump the tyres up to 30psi and it is back to working perfectly. As you promised I have received a new sling, safety bar and lube stick in the post. I cannot thank you enough for your amazing after sale service. I am absolutely thrilled with your new design sling. You guys have covered every issue we ever came across over the last two years of using our pram. Padded sling, more support, adjusting straps at the back, lays down to almost 180 degrees, more upright seated position and the safety bar for holding onto.
Thank you so much for replacing our broken sling. I am so grateful and will continue even more so to recommend your product as I honestly cannot fault it now.
Also the lube stick is a miracle worker, our pram is driving like new again.

It took me lots and lots of research and months to finally decide on a pram. With different recommendations from many people, I made the decision to purchase the Twin Adventure Buggy over the Valco Twin Runabout and the Double Urban Mountain Buggy 2005 model. The features of the Adventure buggy and accessories in my opinion are much better then the other brands.
Your prompt response to my questions confirms my thoughts that I have purchased the best pram available for my children.
